Basehor Kansas Animal Control services the immediate Basehor Kansas area.

Basehor Animal Control is located in Basehor Kansas.

We do NOT have a shelter, we only have impound for stray or lost animals. We DO place animals up for adoption when stray holds are expired.

The purpose of Animal Control is to handle animal investigations as well as stray dogs and ensure the humane treatment of the city of Basehor's animal population.

If you feel that an animal is being abused or neglected please call and we are happy to investigate.

If you have an animal that is lost, do not hesitate, call 913-724-3397 or 913-724-1313 and report your missing pet immediately.

If you strike an animal in the roadway, please contact police to retrieve the animal and complete an accident report.
