Canine Rescue

The founding members of Warrior Pet Rescue are Iowa natives who love animals.

They are dedicated not only to provide money, but their time and efforts to form an organization which helps rescue these helpless animals who love us unconditionally.
WPR currently concentrates its mission on two fronts: Education and Rescue.

First, WPR enlists the help of various resources to offer information on proper dog care, availability of adoption and the importance of neutering and spaying your dogs. Also, through education and obedience training, WPR's goal is to match these sweet dogs to the perfect forever home!

Second, WPR locates and identifies dogs in danger of euthanization in Iowa and other areas, and places them in our facility or foster families in the area so that they can get the care they need. With the help and funding of other loving volunteers WPR then arranges for these precious dogs to receive vet care including a health assessment and spay/neutering. When ready, they are placed up for adoption to loving families.

It is WPR’s mission to find a loving forever home for all of our beloved animals.

Each one of our dogs rescued receives a thorough examination by a licensed veterinarian and is vaccinated, neutered, spayed, and groomed to prepare them for adoption. WPR depends on the continued support of each of their volunteers and financial contributors to maintain its operations and encourages all others who share this passion to help by volunteering their time, making a financial or food donation or becoming a foster home, We're so proud of the generosity of our fellow dog lovers!
