Habitat for Humanity or simply Habitat, non-governmental, non-profit organization devoted to building "simple, decent, and affordable" housing, a self-described "Christian housing ministry."

Habitat ReStore sells used and surplus building materials and home furnishing items at a fraction of retail prices. This raises money for the Habitat program(s) and diverts materials away from landfills.
Each of the 825 Habitat ReStores in the United States and Canada:
Accepts donations of new and gently-used building materials and household goods. Sells those items to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Uses the proceeds to achieve Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. Does it all with the help of volunteers.
Each ReStore is operated by a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate and each one is unique. Most ReStores focus on home improvement goods like furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances.
