Habitat for Humanity Leeward O'ahu, Inc.

Building houses, building hope!

It's our mission to build simple, decent, affordable homes for families in need on the Leeward Coast of Oahu.

Habitat for Humanity Leeward O`ahu (HHLO, proudly serving families in need from Ewa to Kaena Point on the Leeward Coast. we are a faith-based, 501c3, non-profit organization and one of over 1,600 Habitat affiliates around the world. Since our doors opened in 2005, we have built 14 homes, including home reparations through our Brush with Kindness program.

Habitat houses are simple, strong, built for no profit, and have affordable no-interest mortgages. Our homes are designed to meet local building and safety codes. Construction managers and site supervisors guide volunteers throughout the build process, while licensed subcontractors are used for electrical, plumbing, and solar installation.

All future homeowners are required to contribute 500 hours of "sweat equity" building their homes or the homes of others. This not only gives them a stake in their homes, but it also helps to keep costs down.
