Our Vision:
A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Our Mission:
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Kaua‘i Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Our Programs and Services:
Two main affordable home building programs are currently in operation - New Home Construction Program and Repair and Renovation Program. Homeowners under either program must meet all Kaua`i Habitat guidelines.

*New Home Construction Program*
Interested homebuyers have two options under this program.
(1) `Ele`ele Iluna subdivision: Apply for and purchase a house and lot in the `Ele`ele Iluna subdivision.
(2) Various sites on Kaua`i (dependent upon funding): Build a Habitat house on a lot that is already owned by the homeowner (leasehold land or fee simple).

*Repair and Renovation Program*
The Repair and Renovation Program has been underway since 2011 and involves making critical repairs to homes owned by families who meet our guidelines. The goals of the program incl:
- focusing on housing that is deteriorating, due to old paint, decaying wood, old roofing and worn out materials
- providing resources of construction management, volunteers and access to loan funds to make repairs
- to have a positive impact on and serve a larger number of families and improveme older neighborhoods on Kaua`i

*ReStore®*
Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity also operates ReStore®, which sells new and used discounted building and construction materials, home improvement items, and gently used furniture, appliances, and household goods, to raise money for the affiliate. Proceeds from ReStore® support Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build decent, affordable housing.
