The Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals.

Our primary mission is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals and the promoting of humane education and spay/neutering of pets.

The Fitzgerald - Ben Hill County Humane Society will take in over 2,000 animals each year. Many of these often abandoned, abused or unwanted animals. The Humane Society's task is to not only rescue these animals from their cruel and inhumane living conditions, but also to give these animals the love and care they deserve. Our Shelter Staff and Board of Directors work hard to place animals either back with their loved ones or in new loving and caring homes. Every animal adopted out of our shelter is subject to mandatory spay/neuter laws. This page has been created in an effort to help spread the faces of those animals that are available and need a home right here in our community.
