Animal Friends Rescue Project

Changing Futures for At-Risk Shelter Animals
www.AnimalFriendsRescue.org

AFRP rescues over 1,200 cats, dogs and rabbits each year. We play a unique role in our community by rescuing the animals that are most at risk in the shelter environment: the underage, nursing, senior, injured, shy and overlooked animals.

Adoption Program
We place homeless animals into good permanent homes by showcasing our animals at our main Adoption Center, satellite adoption centers, offsite events and our website.

Volunteer Program
Volunteers provide foster homes, adoption counseling, transportation, office assistance and much more to help the animals. Junior volunteers socialize kitties, work in the adoption center and help at events.

Life Link Transport Program
Every week our team of volunteer drivers transports at risk dogs from our overcrowded shelters to safety with animal welfare organizations that are eagerly awaiting them throughout the westerns states. We transport an average of 1,600 dogs a year.

Community Spay/Neuter Program
• We provide low cost spay/neuter vouchers for cats to the public.
• We are working to combat the overpopulation crisis in Monterey County with targeted spay/neuter programs to reduce the number of animals entering our shelters.

AFRP Treasure Shop
Our benefit shop specializes in antiques, jewelry, collectibles, furniture, gently used and new clothing and so much more. All proceeds help the animals and programs of AFRP. 160 Fountain Ave, Pacific Grove, CA 831-333-0491
