Once you fill out an adoption application and are approved to adopt, you will pay the adoption fee to the shelter. The shelter staff will then schedule an appointment with the vet for the sterilization surgery. When the surgery date is confirmed with the vet, the staff will carry the pet to the vet to have them spay/neutered and get a rabies vaccination. The adoption fee covers the sterilization surgery, rabies vaccination and micro-chipping. Some pets are already sterilized and current on vaccinations. These pets are available for adoption once the adoption fee is paid.
