Mile High Weimaraner Rescue is a non-profit, 100% volunteer based weimaraner rescue in Colorado. Thank you for your support and love for the breed!

The purpose of Mile High Weimaraner Rescue is to find loving, permanent homes for weimaraners in need. We prepare prospective families for responsible dog ownership through education and support. We assist companions with training and behavior modification when necessary.

MHWR is located in Colorado, however we have branches in Wichita, KS and Rapid City, SD. We will only adopt a Weimaraner to those living within the following states: Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, Utah and South Dakota. If someone would like to adopt a Weim from our rescue group, they need to travel to the location to transport the dog. We do not have a facility to house the weimaraners that are available for adoption, we are a foster based rescue.
