Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County - CARE of DC
CARE of DC is a "No Kill" organization. We take in animals that are "at risk" and try to find forever homes for them.
CARE of DC is a "No Kill" non-profit, organization dedicated to rescuing animals who are homeless, neglected, abused or at risk of euthanasia. Our animals are fully vetted and are adopted to homes that best match their needs through our adoption process. We remain committed to these animals if circumstances change and take back our animals at any time, for any reason. Our team is comprised of volunteers so almost every penny donated goes directly toward the care of our animals. We also collaborate with other no kill rescue organizations in need and work to educate and assist the public for animal welfare issues such as TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return), low cost spay/neuter programs and the appropriate care of all animals.
CARE of DC is a "No Kill", non profit organization. Our goal is to save as many animals from euthanasia as possible. We take our animals from high kill shelters and work to rehabilitate them and find forever homes. Our organization works closely with other rescues and shelters that share in our values. We have developed a strong network of "no kill" partners and we assist them on a regular basis. We take in corporate donations, warehouse them and then work to distribute the donated food and supplies to our partners in need.
