Kern River Animal Rescue (KRAR) is a non-profit organization for abused or neglected animals. Our mission is to provide sanctuary, medical care, and rehabilitation to animals deserving of a second chance at life.

All animals in our care will be vaccinated and spayed/neutered before adoption. Additionally, KRAR will provide awareness and education about the horrors of dog-fighting, animal abuse, animal neglect, irresponsible breeding, and overpopulation. KRAR is a strong proponent of animal adoption over breeding and buying.
