Sometimes its not just cats and dogs that come to the shelter. Today, an injured hawk came to our doors. Since this isn't our specialty we transported the poor guy to Peace River Wildlife Center - PRWC to be cared for. 🙏

Everyone here at the shelter, EXPECIALLY the pups want to send a big thanks out to ERS Construction
We needed a section of fence to replace parts in our kennel, and ERS Construction came through. Small acts of kindness like this help us provide the best care possible to the pets in the shelter.

Yesterday we were asked to spend some time helping the residents of Truewood by Merrill, Charlotte Center make some homemade dog treats for the pups at the shelter. 🦴🐶💜
