The American Samoa Council on Arts, Culture, & Humanities has the dual goal of maintaining and strengthening the vigorous traditional arts of our indigenous Samoan culture and of introducing the arts of the broader world beyond our isolated islands. Central to both these goals are the role of arts in education and the involvement of the underserved citizens in the smalle outlying island of the archipelago.
*To strengthen the traditional culture and art forms of American Samoa.
* To expose our people to the arts forms of the broader world.
*To broaden the accessibility of the arts and arts participation both geographically in the territory and to under-represented segments of our population.
*To create an atmosphere that will enhance the enjoyment of the arts in American Samoa
*To provide opportunities for the Samoan population with a taste of art that is non-Samoan.
*To maintain the traditional cultural heritage and artisitc birth of American Samoa.
