Bert 🐾♥️🐾 (rescue name was George) arrived to the rescue looking so sad and heart worm positive. We were so thankful to his family who cared for Bert and made him all better 🙌🏼. His Halloween costume is just too cute! He looks so handsome with his sister too. Thank you for adopting this sweet boy 🙌🏼. He was truly a favorite 😍 they all are but Bert has an incredible soulfulness that touches our hearts. We understand rescue dogs aren’t for everyone and that’s ok. We hope all dogs get the best care and that their parents learn about positive reinforcement rewards based training to build trust and a healthy bond. Welcome adorable Zander to CHAAMP ❤️ Zander is approximately three years old and was a staff favorite at the shelter. The shelter, like so many others, were filling up fast and out of space. Thank you Steve for transporting him and getting him to us safely and to the shelter for reaching out to us and for taking good care of him. Maddox has grown and learned so much from Rob and his lucky dog family ❤️ He is ready and waiting for his person to find him. Finn MacCool 😎had a nice hike last before the Trick or Treat time 👻. He was mentally and physically exercised, then enjoyed a frozen Kong while keeping an eye on his dad and he faced the potential intruders at the door. Finn only had to bark 3 times and realized Dad had things under control and continued to enjoy his treats. We tried to keep him with his mom in the basement but Finn the family guardian asked to be close to Dad and be his back up. He’s usually a mama’s boy but his desire to protect the family outweighed his love for mama. Thankfully he did really well 🙌🏼🐾♥️🐾🙌🏼. He used to go crazy! But that’s behind us now. Changing Finn’s feelings about strangers at the door took time ⏰ and it’s a continuous work in progress. We do our best to manage the environment to help him be successful. 🐾♥️🐾 #chaampmalamutes #hikingdog

Ally (our sweet tripod available for adoption) loves water 💦 1st at the Beachwade and now the Monocacy River at a winery event. Lois slipped down the hill hence the mud 😂 surprise! Ally had no issues 🐾♥️🐾. She just wants to be with her foster mom. #chaampmalamutes #tripoddog
