Remember this gorgeous girl? We decided to name her Pinky! That nose was too cute. We're still not sure if she's albino or not, but we're leaning towards no. She simply has gorgeous eyes! What we have learned from Pinky in the past couple weeks is that she is still working on coming out of her shell, but she gets the hang of things pretty quickly. She just needs a little patience and love to full blossom into the happy-go-lucky dog we have seen glimpses of. She's very curious and ADORES affection. She is 1-2 years old and 40-45 pounds. Meet our newest bonded pair! Temporarily named Melvin (male, white) and Maple (female, golden), these two were picked up by a good Samaritan who noticed them wandering a neighborhood for several days. They did not once leave each other's side and even taking photographs together, wanted to stay by one another's side. We estimate Melvin to be a ~3-4 year old staffordshire terrier/English bulldog/pug mix and Maple to be a ~5-6 year old staffordshire terrier/labrador retriever/beagle mix. We will likely give potential owners one more week before posting them as available for adoption. #poochmatch

Happy Thanksgiving! We are incredibly thankful for all of the support and interest in adopting one of our Poochmatch pups. We wish a safe, happy holiday for you and your pets. Java and coffee litter update: Pups are all doing well and Java is a great mom, keeping her puppies warm and making sure they have enough to eat (we want to mention that we did check to be sure that the puppy closest to the top of the photo could breathe and was not trapped under her mom, and she was perfectly good 🙂). We never shared Java's face since she was tired after delivering her 5 babies and wanted to clean them, but here she is! The pups have been growing and suckling well and we hope they will continue to grow well and have no issues developing into strong, happy puppies. We also can't wait to see what else they may be mixed with, as the father is unknown. *Java and puppies are not available for adoption*

Five puppies were born! They look healthy and momma is doing very well. She's nursing them and they all seem to be latching on and eating perfectly. Meet Java and her puppies: Espresso, Macchiato, Americano, Frappuccino, and Cappuccino! #poochmatch

Two weeks ago, we took in a black maltipoo found running along a road. She was extremely matted and quite shy. While waiting on potential owners, we gave her food and she gained weight like a champ! Well, now we know why! At a grooming and vet appointment several days after rescue, it was discovered she was pregnant. She started to go into labor this morning and has delivered 3 puppies so far. They look great and mama is doing so well. We hope that they will all check out to be healthy! Wish her luck!

We have given Alaska and Rover a year and a half to try to be adopted as a pair. Our team has decided to begin accepting applications for them individually. We are at capacity on medium/large breed dogs and have been for a while. Of course we would still be over the moon if they could be adopted as a pair, but after much discussion over the past couple weeks, we have decided it's time to try something new for them.
