Rivers of Love is a 501(c)3 organization, located in Baldwin Co. We advocate for animal rights, rescue to save lives, and foster animals until adopted.

Rivers of Love is named after our Pitbull, Rivers. She was intentionally struck by a car in our front yard just because the driver "didn't like pitbulls". As a result of his careless actions, we had to have her put to sleep because her injuries were so severe. It was in that moment that I made a promise to her that I would make it my priority to see that other animals are not treated with the same level of disregard just because of their breed. And furthermore, I would work to save the lives of other animals who deserve a second chance, and become a voice for the them- the voiceless, the victims. So, because of Rivers, our beloved pitbull, we named our rescue after her. The idea is that we will be helping to rescue and transport animals from death and moving them to a better place. Just as a river will move and transport, so will we!
