Every Dog Counts Rescue

We're an all-volunteer, all-breed dog rescue specializing in rehabilitating sick and injured dogs.

Every Dog Counts Rescue is a non-profit (501c3), all-volunteer dog rescue, founded to save the lives of dogs in high-kill shelters in the Midwest. Our focus is on dogs with special medical needs - the injured, sick, very young, or elderly - who often will not make it out of the shelter without rescue. If they are still able to enjoy life, we want to give them that chance.

We believe that foster dogs are not 2nd class citizens, so they get the same veterinary care we would seek for our own dogs, no matter the cost. Senior dogs all receive complete dental care and wellness screening. And injured and sick dogs get whatever they need. Orthopedic and neurologic surgeries typically cost $1000-3500, so it certainly gets expensive! We are forever grateful to our supporters and Facebook Friends, who make our work possible! THANK YOU!!!!!

We are also eternally grateful to our OUTSTANDING veterinarians.
- VCA West 86th Street Animal Hospital (317-872-0200) provides most of our comprehensive veterinary care
- VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Fishers (317-578-4100) takes care of our dogs with complicated surgical needs
We could NOT exist without our awesome veterinary partners!!!

We are ALWAYS in need of volunteer help... driving to/from vet appointments, driving transports on Friday and Saturdays, fosters, adoption event assistants, fundraising partners, etc. If you're interested in joining us in our mission to save doggies-in-need, please let us know!!
