The McMinn Regional Humane Society (MRHS), in close cooperation with the
City of Athens Animal Shelter, helps provide loving care for thousands of homeless
animals every year from the city of Athens and McMinn County.

We rely strictly on volunteers at the shelter, none of the MRHS folks at the shelter
are paid, they do this because of their love of animals. Monetary support from our
animal loving friends in the community as well as donations of supplies are very
appreciated and needed to find homes or rescues for as many animals as possible.
