ACT works closely with the Lowndes County Animal Shelter and other rescue organizations to save pets in need.. ACT pets are placed in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes. ACT-Animal Rescue is a State approved non-profit organization. ACT is not a 501c3 yet, but we are in the process of obtaining this. ACT is a 100% volunteer based rescue group with no paid employees. We are always looking for foster homes and volunteers to help with our rescued pets. If you would like to become a foster or volunteer in other ways, please message us on this page. ACT relies solely on donations and all donations go directly to our rescued pets that include vet care, pet food, medications and much more.
