Rabbit Rescue and Friends

We are a family run, non profit, small animal rescue and rehoming centre based in Malvern.
Any enquiries please call Jai on: 07736541683 Monday-Saturday.

Rescuing and rehoming rabbits and other small animals is a full time voluntary job. Along side the rescue I have plenty of my own furry family members and two small children, please be considerate of this before asking questions that can be answered with the following info already given :) YOu can also read more about our adoption requirements at www.rabbitrescueandfriends.co.uk

Please ensure you have all of the following before enquiring about adopting...
Basic rabbit care needs, these can be found on the RWAF website.
A 6ft single or 5ft double hutch, with a full days access to either a large free range area or a secure garden. Please remember these are the minimum requirements, the more space you can offer them the happier they will be.
Rabbits require lots of mental simulation, so plenty of toys, hide away's and tunnels will be needed. Home made toys ensure something new can be offered daily - cardboard boxes and tubes stuffed with treats and hay are a great way to keep them busy.
Rabbits must always live in pairs, and can not live with guinea pigs.
A rabbits diet must consist of 80% good quality hay, 10% good quality pellet feed and 10% fresh greens. fruit and carrots can be used for treats a few times a week.
I will need proof of all of the above before adoption and in some cases a vet reference to ensure a good home.

Our adoption fees are as follows:

£20 per lone rabbit
£35 per bonded pair of rabbits

We also offer vaccinations prior to rehoming the rabbits at only £20 per rabbit.

We only rehome single rabbits if they are going to live with another rabbit, as rabbits don't like to live alone. The best pairings are same sex littermates, or a neutered male and female.

Please remember myself and my lovely volunteers work with you and the rabbits around our families and jobs etc. Please be patient with us and we will do our upmost to help you with any enquiries you may have.
If you are interested in adopting a rabbit or other furry friend from rabbit rescue, it is best to book in for a visit to come and meet us all. Unfortunately I just do not have the time to send over pictures and details to individuals via our page.... we usually have over 30 rabbits up for adoption at a time!
from myself, my fantastic team and all of our beautiful rescue rabbits...thank you, and we hope to hear from you soon :)

kind regards, Jai
