Leslie’s day started with this little one, Owenn 13.5 oz, being brought to her after being rescued from the middle of Rt. 27 in Mt Airy. Little Owenn has been checked by the vet and is on antibiotics for weepy eyes and possible pneumonia.
We adopted our two kittens (Thor and Sif) from Darby’s. We loved getting to know them before committing as well as being able to meet the foster parents beforehand. Both cats are thriving and fully integrated into our household and getting along great with our adult cat (Stormy) and our bearded dragon (Herman).
K9 Owen (certified Live Find Area Search) has #tongueoutTuesday covered!

Big things have small beginnings.
Josh, Virginia and DDay are all about 14 weeks old and looking for their forever homes.
Josh and DDay are characters with their playing and talking. Virginia (little all black one) is a quiet smuggler. Call if you would like to meet these babies.
Today is Joe's 25th birthday! This wonderful old donkey was surrendered a couple of years ago when his owner passed away. He had painful feet and a few health issues when he arrived, but he is doing fantastic now. Anyone who has visited here has likely been greeted and escorted about the farm by Joe. He loves people and attention! And food! We decided to have a birthday party for Joe and his friends here, complete with carrot cake cupcakes, carrot and Apple haystack treats, and more. Joe actually came with registration papers, so he's one of the few donkeys that we really know their birth date. We love Joe, and are so happy he's celebrating his 25th, right here at our rescue. Happy Birthday Joe!
Anyone remember Theo? He arrived here just a few months ago, a frightened, intact jack. Now, he's a wonderful gelding, much, much calmer, learning to get along with the other geldings and play, not fight. He's learned that people are ok, and just gets better and sweeter by the day. Please geld your donkey!
At last night's training, we were honored to receive a generous donation from The Grainger Foundation. Iain McLean from Grainger, along with his daughters, presented the check on behalf of the foundation. We were proud to have them stay to watch our dogs (and handlers) work.
