Our adoption specialists have been super busy of late! We had a couple of adoptions on Monday and another one today! Sassy little Brandy went home to a fun, high-energy family who fell in love! She was being too sassy to get out of the carrier to take a picture!
The puppies are starting to go home! Remember those adorable 2 week old puppies that we rescued (along with other dogs) back on June 1st? Well they are finally old enough to go to their furever home! Ritz is the first one! We wish him all the pets and cuddles! #adoptdontshop ❤️ Check out this transformation!
I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, to Tami Williams and her 3 kids (Sammy, Brennan, and Zoe), Mercedes, Mark, John, and Mary for helping us this weekend. We accomplished a ton and we are so grateful for your help. It's the way we can keep ungrateful Penelope and her ugly goat sidekick best friend forever in their luxury accommodations 😂 Seriously though, we can do all that we do only with support. We sincerely appreciate all your effort! #Rescue #StormCreekNationRocks #BlessYall

You were abandoned by your family and left alone to die
You were betrayed by those you love and told too many lies
I knew that you deserved the love that you had been denied
Before I saw your tears my heart could hear your cries
In my dreams I was haunted by what you were going through
In my heart I knew that I would find a way to come to your rescue
I wasn’t sure how, but it was something that I needed to do
Before I saw your face I knew that I would love you
Please do not blame yourself or hang your head in shame
I promise from now on, that things will never be the same
You will never be betrayed or abandoned ever again
Before we ever met, in my heart I could hear you call my name
I promise that you will never again be mistreated and left all alone
I will be patient while you adjust to the surroundings so unknown
I will do my best to return the love that you have always shown
Before I knew your name I was searching for your forever home

For every life that leaves us for heaven, as broken as we feel after, we weep, we mourn, we sleep and we awake the next day to save another. 420 dogs lives changed forever. $20,000 a month now in vet bills. 80 dogs in our care. It's easy to get overwhelmed. To fall into despair and want to give up. But tomorrow is a new day to focus on the living, to breathe in live and to save another while never forgetting the past. The ones we lose we carry with us forever. Please consider a small donation. Look at all we have done together. We are all a part of something truly special. We are all a part of God's love and he reminds us every single day that all souls matter. #adopt #foster #donate #youCANmakeadifference
Tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. our family is saying goodbye to our sweet foster Popeye. Popeye had his eye removal surgery about two weeks ago and sadly he has not really gotten stronger as he has also been fighting a major teeth infection that could not be done at the time if his eye removal due to the amount of infection that could have gotten in his eye. His teeth could not be done about two weeks after his surgery due to just recently having anesthesia and being anemic. Today when he went in to get his teeth done, further blood work was done and it was found he is in kidney failure, even more anemic than before and no guarantee that even a week later after on meds to help build his system so he possibly does not bleed to death and or he improves enough to have a good quality of life. The most loving act we can do for him is to let him cross peacefully. Today, we are holding him and loving on him till we say goodbye in the morning. 🐾💔🐾❤
